My name is Adrienne, and I am a certified Classical Flying Stars Feng Shui consultant. This, I am aware is a mouthful to say and a head twister of what I do for a living.
First, did you know that there are different schools of Feng Shui and different ways to practice it? I will explain this later, but first, let me tell you about what I do as a practitioner and consultant.
My job as a practitioner is to balance the dwelling’s Chi to enhance its positive aspects and discourage its negative ones. My practice involves calculating a 'natal chart' for a building or home’s space based on the direction the building faces or sits on the land. We use this chart to make the energy as positive as possible, aligning your home to support the highest good of you, your business, your relationships, and the home itself.
I am trained to study individual numbers, the combination of numbers, and the location of the numbers (among other things), to determine the likelihood of specific events occurring within your home. The observations I make are based on the macrocosmic world and its influence on us in the microcosmic world. WHOA!
Although I work most directly in your environment, my practice works in tandem with other practices, including the elements of astrology, astronomy, geology, physics, mathematics, philosophy, and intuition. These all combine to improve the overall qi (life force energy) for you and your family. What I practice and am certified to teach is a school called Classical Flying Stars or the Compass school. We use the Lo Pan compass as the mapping tool for your home and do personal readings, and as you can see, it is highly technical.
Next, my practice is based on the Chinese calendar, which has a different first day of the year than Western calendars. Depending on the year, it starts on or around February 4, which is considered the first day of spring on the Chinese calendar. (Just to make it a little more confusing, this is not the same day as the Lunar New Year.)
Another principle, the main principle really, is the Bagua Map or Lo Shu magic square. This is the Feng Shui energy map—or what I call your energetic blueprint. This is one of the most powerful tools we use. The Bagua Map offers a systematic way to evaluate the energy field of your environment.
Bagua literally means “eight areas” in Chinese. Therefore, the Bagua is eight areas around a center. These areas are connected to different aspects of life. Each gua (or life area) also has countless other layered meanings, such as colors, elements, shapes, organs, and so much more.
So, a practitioner can calculate each of the numbers of the nine equal squares that overlay your home’s floor plan.
The main reason a lot of people get confused is that there are different schools of Feng Shui. Practices, at times, will contradict each other. So let me explain where the confusion comes from. It comes down to the difference in mapping. When you Google Feng Shui, you’ll be presented with a map for Western Feng Shui, which has been condensed and broken down to fit into the Western World’s way of living.
The Western Feng Shui maps use the front door as the entry point, which then dictates the locations of the different life areas of your home. This is not what I practice or teach. As I said earlier, I use the compass directions to determine the different areas of your home, which is much more accurate.
What I teach to students who take my online courses is the practice of Flying Stars Feng Shui. Also, what I share and teach those in my Facebook community (as far as possible) is the practice of Flying Stars Feng Shui. I say as “far as possible” because every home is different and has its own energetic blueprint.
My group learns intentional Feng Shui enhancements, Feng Shui tips, advice about decluttering, mindset, and many other things about small changes—and I’m sure some have experienced either subtle or big wins.
But to dive deeper into Feng Shui and harness the personal energy of your home and its impact on your life comes with personal attention—starting with an assessment of your home. The calculations based on the information you give me about your home, including your home’s date of “birth”, compass directions, and the theories I explained, determine your blueprint. Think about it. Every home is different, so your North area is not the same as your neighbor’s North area.
So, what do I do for you? That’s the big question, no?
When you are ready for something to change or are tired of not getting anywhere with everything you’ve tried, you may then wonder when the ideal time is to hire me.
Consider reaching out:
🎋 When you’re starting something new and need a kickstart or support.
🎋Perhaps you're on a spiritual path and want to go deeper to integrate it into the environment around you.
Another good time to reach out for a Feng Shui consultation is:
✨ When you would like to invite more prosperity into your life, such as when you’re ready to increase your wealth and abundance (which isn’t just about money).
✨ If you’re looking to create true wellness in your home and life or when you’re ready to connect body, mind, and spirit.
✨When you are overwhelmed and can use some benefactors, reach out for a consultation. This is especially true when you have trouble asking for help and support.
✨Maybe you are feeling down and would like to welcome more joy into your everyday life. Perhaps you need closure or could use help to complete projects.
✨ A consultation is especially helpful when moving into a new space or when you’re embarking on something new. But the ideal time is when you feel drawn to have a professional consultation.
✨Consider reaching out if you're ready to embark on a new career and need direction.
✨ Even if you're not changing careers, maybe you’ve been feeling uninspired and need to ignite some passion in any area of your life, including your relationships.
✨ If you’re really ready to love yourself and invite a new partnership into your life, ask for a Feng Shui consultation.
✨ You can have a consultation when you need support, when things are good, when things are stable, and when they are in transition. Consulting with me when it’s totally chaotic is okay too because perhaps this is when you need it the most.
A Feng Shui consultation is helpful in all types of situations, as long as it feels right for you.
Listen to your heart for what’s right for you right now. Sometimes, what you are first attracted to and what feels right truly is the best. Tap into your intuition and sometimes answers or people just fall into your lap. The biggest thing is, if you are tired of temporary solutions, it may be right for you and you will know.
Feng Shui is a permanent solution.
All the best my friends,
Adrienne
